The Misteri d'Elx (Elche Mystery Plays)
is a sung drama with Mediaeval origins, which has been declared by UNESCO to be a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
It is a Mediaeval play and its origins date back to 1632, when Pope Urban VIII issued a papal bull.

Elias Garcia Martinez- Fresco in Borja, Spain
A previously little regarded painting has become a tourist attraction in the small Spanish town of Borja. Since it was placed in the 'Misericordia Church' in 1930 the fresco has suffered the pains of time and age. So a caring parishioner Cecilia Gimenez an eighty year old grandmother decided to make good the signs of age.

For a long time, Spanish people have had a traditional custom to celebrate New Year's Eve. On the last day of the year, the 31st of December , they wait until twelve p.m. Everybody has to have twelve grapes ready to eat when the clock starts to chime. It is traditional to listen to the clock from Puerta del Sol in Madrid.
