Titirijai, the Tolosa International Puppet Festival, has been held in Tolosa, in the Basque region of Spain since 1983. A family event that allows children and adults alike to get up close and personal with puppeteers from Spain and around the world. Several venues feature shows that follow classic tales as well as modern stories and puppets. All the favourites will be there to surely delight all who attend. The Titirijai 2013 will be held from November 23 to December 1. Account this year with the participation of twelve companies, representing 32 features, 23 of which are reserved for school groups and the rest open to the general public. It highlights a strong international presence, with companies from Argentina, Portugal, Italy, France, Mexico and Kenya, in addition to groups of Catalonia, Madrid, Navarre and Andalusia. In addition to the representations in Tolosa, the Titirijai about its functions to other locations, in a circuit that includes Ordizia, Eibar, Pasaia, Donostia, Sestao, Zaragoza and Alicante.

Spanish and international companies stage their shows at various venues around the town.
Titirijai Festival, the International Puppet Festival of Tolosa; more than thirty festival editions, with 620 companies from five continents, over 540.000 attendants, mainly children. Shows that have toured and been performed in many towns in Guipuzcoa, Vizcaya and Navarra.
