It's Christmas time and the streets come alive with thousands of lights and the sounds of Christmas carols filling the air with a special season flavour. Let yourself be carried away by the spirit of Christmas!
 
Jalance Day of Fools
FESTIVIDAD DÍA DE LOS LOCOS

 On December 28, the day of the Holy Innocents, will be held at the Jalance \ "Feast of Fools \", the party that is a written record of their existence at the beginning of the seventeenth century through the parish books, although because of the supposed previous boom and the importance then.   As we begin the day appointing a mayor among Fools, these are represented by the "Fifth" so called because it was composed of those who formerly were called up this year to do military service are now young people who meet 18 years and the tradition is still kept.  The feast begins early making noise on the streets of the village, then go to the town hall where he delivers hands of the mayor of Jalance, \ "stick command \" of the people, and this will be ruled by them for 24 hours.  The crazy out into the streets, accompanied by members of the Music Band all adorned with schemes clothing and face \ "pintarrajeada \", knocking on the doors of houses to ask for contributions to the party, climb on balconies to draw dancing to women, do people go to bars to the street, to stop cars to get off the occupants and making them dance with anyone, we face paint… das money and if they do anything they ask . This festival is living on the streets throughout the day well into the night where it continues with a verbena and these continue to make theirs.

The youth fair Expojove comes to Valencia during the Christmas holidays at the Valencia trade fairgrounds, starting December 26th until January 4th, with plenty of activities for all.

Expojove is filled with surprises, such as the medieval park, where visitors can enjoy the experience of living at a different time.
