Netflix has greenlit a straight-to-series order for ‘Matt Wolfe,’ a project spearheaded by ‘Adolescence’ creator Jack Thorne, with A24 producing. The show will pit a disgraced FBI agent, played by Harbour, against his estranged daughter, a determined FBI agent portrayed by Brown, as she vanishes during a perilous mission.
The synopsis paints a picture of a fractured family pulled back into a dangerous world: ‘In the series, disgraced FBI agent turned security expert Matt Wolfe (Harbour) is drawn back into the world he left behind when his estranged daughter, Rebecca (Brown) — now an FBI agent determined to follow in his footsteps — vanishes on a mission, forcing him to return to a field that has evolved beyond him.’

Adding to the intrigue, Brown’s husband, Jake Bongiovi, and father, Robert Brown, are producing via PCMA Productions. Joe Hipps and Patrick McDonald from Cut To, alongside KC Wenson from Bravo Axolotl, round out the producing team.
