Saber's new chief business officer assures fans of no aggressive monetization for future titles
Saber Interactive's newly appointed Chief Business Officer, Steve Allison, has set gamers' minds at ease regarding the studio's monetization plans for its upcoming games.
Monetization strategy remains unchanged
Allison took to the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine subreddit to address concerns over potential aggressive monetization tactics in future titles. In a response confirmed by Saber, Allison emphasized that the studio intends to maintain its current approach, which has been well-received by fans.
For Space Marine 2, Saber has opted for a 'free DLC plan for the community' with the possibility of paid DLC in the future, avoiding the controversial voice pack DLC issue that sparked backlash earlier.

2028 Slate includes space marine 3, john wick game, and more
Allison's comment also touched on Saber's ambitious 2028 lineup, which includes Space Marine 3, the John Wick game, the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake, and potentially unannounced titles. This exciting slate has generated significant interest among fans, with many eagerly anticipating the next installment in the Space Marine series.
However, Saber has downplayed the significance of Allison's 2028 comments, stating that they were made 'broadly, not officially,' and that no official release dates or launch windows have been confirmed for the studio's upcoming titles.
