Cd projekt rules out secret cyberpunk 2077 dlc amid the witcher 3 rumors

Polish developer CD Projekt has shot down speculation about future Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, stating they have 'no plans' for additional expansions. The studio made the comment in response to a fan inquiry on social media, implying there are no secret DLC projects in the works for the over five-year-old game.

The wait for cyberpunk 2 looks far

While some fans might be disappointed by the lack of new content, the company is clearly focused on its upcoming slate of games. Cyberpunk 2 is still a ways off, with CD Projekt co-CEO Michał Nowakowski suggesting a 2030 or later release date. That's further behind The Witcher 4, which itself won't arrive until at least 2027.

Meanwhile, rumors persist about a potential 'Dune-style' DLC for The Witcher 3, which would add new content to the over decade-old game. If true, this could arrive later this year, although no official word has been given by the studio.
