Deponia's quirky charm comes free on steam for a limited time
Daedalic Entertainment has kicked off its 20th Publishing Season by offering a slew of discounts on its catalog, and the festivities begin with a freebie - the critically acclaimed point-and-click adventure, Deponia.

Experience the lucasarts-esque humor
Set in a world reminiscent of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, and Matt Groening, Deponia follows the misadventures of Rufus, a grumpy underdog who clings to survival on a junkyard planet inhabited by the lower class. When a high-class girl named Goal crashes down, Rufus sees an opportunity to turn his fortunes around.
This charming gem, originally released in 2012, is now available for free on Steam until March 16, 2026, after which it will revert to its regular price of €9.99. The freebie is just the start, as Daedalic's Publishing Season event offers over 187 titles with discounts of up to 90% across its portfolio.
