Disney+ drops unexpected double daredevil: born again episodes

Disney+ has surprised fans by releasing not one, but two new episodes of their hit Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again, skipping the usual weekly rollout. The double dose of gritty urban action and courtroom drama, titled 'Point of No Return' and 'Balance and the Scales', clock in at 49 and 50 minutes respectively, offering viewers a bonus chunk of Matt Murdock's misadventures.

Why the sudden acceleration?

Marvel's strategic move might be to clear the decks for the upcoming Punisher: Last Stand, a Jon Bernthal-starring special that premieres May 12, 2026, on Disney+. By ending Daredevil's second season a week earlier on May 5, fans will have time to catch up before diving into the dark and visceral tale of Frank Castle's return, which serves as a bridge between Born Again and future MCU projects.

With the revised schedule, Daredevil: Born Again's remaining episodes will roll out as follows: Episode 1 on March 24, Episode 2 and 3 on March 31, Episode 4 on April 7, Episode 5 on April 14, Episode 6 on April 21, and finally, Episode 7 and 8 on April 28 and May 5 respectively.
