Invincible vs completes launch roster with ruthless conquest

Quarter Up's upcoming 3v3 tag fighter, Invincible VS, has revealed Conquest as its 18th and final launch character. The game's roster is now complete, ahead of its April 30 release date on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Conquest joins the fray

A brutal and merciless Viltrumite, Conquest takes joy in causing mass destruction and pain. He's deployed as a 'nuclear option' when the Empire needs a planet subdued with savage brutality. Yet, his over-the-top violence earns him despise even from his own kind, revealing a deep loneliness.

As a 'Striker' in gameplay terms, Conquest excels at applying immense pressure and overpowering opponents with powerful strikes. His charging punch builds speed and gains super armor, making him a formidable force on the battlefield.

The addition of Conquest brings the launch roster to 18 playable characters. Notable absentees include Angstrom Levy, Mauler Twins, Shrinking Rae, Darkwing, and Shapesmith, though more characters are promised as DLC. Invincible VS feels 'Viltrumite-heavy' at launch, but the potential for a full Invincible universe is there.

The game's open beta kicks off on April 9, featuring 10 characters in three modes (Tutorial, Practice, and Ranked). Participants will receive a bonus Omni-Man skin. The first two DLC characters, Universa and the Immortal, arrive this summer.
