Mario evolves into a 'person' in new film, says legend shigeru miyamoto

Forty years after his pixelated debut in Donkey Kong, Mario has finally become a fully-realized character, according to the man who created him, Shigeru Miyamoto. In a rare interview at the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto, Miyamoto revealed that working on the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie with Illumination's Chris Meledandri allowed Mario to grow and evolve into a more nuanced persona.
