Movistar plus+ launches surprise free plan, allowing access to its streaming platform without payment

Movistar Plus+, the streaming service of Spanish telecommunications company Telefónica, has unveiled a surprise free plan that grants users access to its platform without any payment requirements.

Key features of the new plan

The Plan Gratuito, as it's called, allows users to create an account and enjoy a wide range of content, including popular TV shows, movies, and original productions.

Subscribers to this plan will have access to all of Movistar Plus+'s original programming, such as comedy series like El consultorio de Berto, Ilustres ignorantes, and Leo Talks, which have gained massive popularity among users.

In addition, users will be able to watch famous sports programs like El día después and Eurofighters, although live sports events will not be included in the free plan.

Movistar Plus+ aims to provide its users with an engaging and diverse Entertainment experience, and the introduction of the free plan is seen as a move to attract a wider audience and increase its market share in the competitive streaming landscape.
