Nintendo Directs Galore: Two Shows in September, Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct First

Nintendo fans, rejoice! The wait for the next Nintendo Direct is almost over, with not one, but two showcases scheduled for September. The first, a The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct, will kick off the festivities on Tuesday, September 8, followed by a general Nintendo Direct and a Nintendo Treehouse: Live stream on Wednesday.

The Zelda Direct, airing at 7am PT / 10am ET / 4pm CEST, will celebrate the iconic series' 40th anniversary with approximately 30 minutes of information related to The Legend of Zelda. IGN will host a pre-show at 6:55am PT / 9:55am ET / 3:55 pm CEST, and a live post-show featuring Zelda experts discussing the Direct's reveals.

The second Direct, airing on September 9 at 7am PT / 10am ET / 4pm CEST, will focus on Nintendo Switch games launching this winter, but expect some surprises beyond that timeframe. IGN will once again host pre- and post-show content, including liveblogging the Direct and covering all the key announcements.
