The live-action adaptation of Netflix's One Piece continues to captivate audiences, and LEGO is riding the wave. Just over a week after the second season dropped, the toy company has confirmed rumors of new sets, with a Tony Tony Chopper minifigure making its first appearance on Instagram.
Lego chopper minifigure hints at future one piece sets
The adorable doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates, known for his reindeer origins and medical skills, has become a fan favorite. Creator Eiichiro Oda himself suggested Netflix approach Chopper’s design with a stuffed toy aesthetic to avoid the unsettling “uncanny valley.”
The Instagram post shows Chopper emerging from the snow, accompanied by a simple “coming soon” message. While LEGO hasn’t officially revealed the set this minifigure will be part of, speculation points towards a Drum Island Castle set or a standalone buildable Chopper figure. Given LEGO’s recent Gum-Gum Fruit display aimed at an older demographic, a Chopper display build seems more probable.
The renewed interest in One Piece provides a significant boost for LEGO, extending the franchise's reach beyond its long-running manga and anime roots. Fans already have several One Piece sets to explore, including the Going Merry Pirate Ship, the Baratie Floating Restaurant and the Gum-Gum Fruit display which were launched in August 2026.
