Orange tv adds 17 new local channels at no extra cost

Orange TV has officially announced the arrival of new local channels to its TV lineup, but they've been live since yesterday. What's happening with the rest of MasOrange TVs? As we've found out, they're also available to subscribers of Jazztel TV, PepeTV, and MasMovil TV.

New channels available across masorange platforms

The 17 new provincial and local dials have been added at no additional cost and are now available to watch starting today. However, many users were unaware if this novelty would also apply to the rest of MasOrange TV platforms. Fortunately, they only had to wait a day to find out that this new sum of local and provincial channels is now available for the rest of TV in this group.

For Orange TV customers, this means enjoying 11 new local channels, while PepeTV, MasMovil TV, and Jazztel TV subscribers can access the 17 new dials. Yoigo TV also includes these new provincial dials for its customers, all at no extra cost.

What

What's the catch? geographical restrictions apply

While all these new channels are available, they don't come with the complete program lineup. As local and provincial channels, they're restricted geographically, just like the existing autonomous channel offerings. This means if you're not from the region these dials serve, you won't have access to them through your TV operator's service – although you can check them out without logging in via the TV's website.

More to come in the future

Orange TV confirms that more local and regional channels will be added in the future, as part of their commitment to 'bringing closer the culture, information, and stories that are most relevant to our customers.' They're aiming to provide a 'complete, relevant, and personalized TV experience' for each subscriber.
