Resident evil requiem's photo mode finally arrives, story expansion teased
Capcom has dropped a major update for Resident Evil Requiem, finally unleashing the highly-anticipated photo mode alongside several other improvements.
New features and fixes
Accessible from the pause menu, Requiem's photo mode allows players to customize various settings such as field of view, blur, focus, character pose, expression, eye position, brightness, contrast, vignette, and more. Filters, frames, and stickers can also be added.
Additionally, Capcom has tweaked character expressions in certain cutscenes to better convey emotion, potentially making scenes like Grace's upside-down predicament even more emotionally charged.

What's to come
While the photo mode is a welcome addition, fans are eagerly awaiting the game's upcoming story expansion and the return of the popular Mercenaries mode.
Details on the narrative add-on are scarce, with director Koshi Nakanishi only hinting that it will delve deeper into Requiem's world and that development is ongoing. The reveal of long-absent character Ada Wong remains a topic of speculation, though Capcom has remained tight-lipped on the matter.
For now, players can dive into the full patch notes to see the various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements that accompany the photo mode update.
