The popular League of Legends trading card game, Riftbound, is poised for a significant overhaul. Following successful expansions, the upcoming set, Unleashed, introduces new mechanics and playable Legends, promising to reshape the competitive landscape.

Set for release
on April 10th in China and May 8th in English, Unleashed builds upon the foundation laid by previous sets, introducing a new resource system called XP. Gained through battlefield control, XP unlocks various abilities, adding a layer of strategic depth.The set features over 200 new cards, including 12 new Legends. Confirmed additions include Diana, Scorn of the Moon and Lillia, Bashful Bloom, alongside a new card for Master Yi, making him the first Legend with multiple iterations.
Token cards also play a larger role in Unleashed. These include new cards that create token battlefields, and Reflections – copies of existing units. This shift suggests a move towards more intricate deck building and tactical maneuvering.
Collectors will also find something to excite them: the introduction of Ultimate Rarity cards, appearing in less than 1% of booster packs. The sole Ultimate Rare card in this set is the previously revealed Baron Nashor.
