Sableye’s gem hunt launches next week in pokémon pokopia – time travelers have a head start
Pokémon Pokopia players
have long been privy to upcoming events, thanks to the game’s surprisingly robust time-traveling mechanics. Now, the next in-game event, starring the adorably prickly gem goblin Sableye, is officially launching next week – and early adopters can already be gleaning the details.A hunt for precious resources
The Gem Hunt, beginning April 29th at 5:00 AM local time, will run for approximately two weeks, culminating on May 14th at 4:59 AM. Players will be assisting Sableye in gathering vital resources, a task that will, predictably, involve a significant amount of exploration and, perhaps, a touch of strategic maneuvering.
As with the previous ‘More Spores’ event for Hoppip, the core loop is straightforward: collect Red Crystal Fragments scattered across Dream Islands – requiring the assistance of Drifloon – and then exchange those fragments with Sableye for exclusive event rewards. It’s a familiar formula, but one that consistently delivers a satisfying sense of progression.

Time travel: still a secret weapon
Interestingly, the community’s ability to peek into the future has already provided a significant advantage. The event was unofficially known for some time, allowing seasoned players to optimize their strategies and amass a head start. IGN readers can access a comprehensive guide to mastering time travel within Pokopia, ensuring they’re fully prepared for the Sableye challenge.
Currently, the game is hosting its Bulbasaur Jump Rope event, set to conclude on April 27th. A trophy item awaits those who successfully complete this challenge. For those eager to assist Sableye, a detailed walkthrough is readily available. Don’t delay; the clock is ticking.
