Jec suspends digital id for voting citing security concerns

In a surprise move, the Junta Electoral Central (JEC) has suspended the use of the digital ID for voting, citing security concerns. The JEC believes that the digital verification process for voters is not sufficiently secure, and until measures can be taken to ensure the integrity of the electoral process, the digital ID will not be accepted at polling stations.
