Stewie spin-off greenlit for two seasons, seth macfarlane voices iconic character

Fox has given the green light to a new Stewie Griffin series, with the irascible toddler genius returning in 2027-28.

Stewie enrolls in a lackluster preschool

After being kicked out of his old preschool, Stewie is forced to attend a subpar new school where he's miserable alongside a cast of unenthused kids and a 75-year-old class turtle with outlandish theories.

But Stewie's inventions soon transform the daily grind into intergalactic adventures.

Returning to voice this new series is Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, who also co-created and executive produces. Kirker Butler, a veteran Family Guy writer, takes the reins as showrunner.

MacFarlane's other animated Fox series, Family Guy and American Dad, have both been renewed through 2029, setting the stage for Stewie's journey to conclude alongside them.
