Superman's rogue maxima set to heat up the man of tomorrow sequel

DC Studios is revving up the Man of Tomorrow sequel with the addition of Superman's powerful alien paramour Maxima, setting the stage for a tantalizing exploration of the iconic hero's love life.

Maxima's audition: four actresses vie for the role

In what promises to be a clash of the titans, four actresses are reportedly vying for the coveted part of the super-powered warrior queen from planet Almerac, who comes to Earth in search of a worthy mate - namely, Superman.

Among the hopefuls are Adria Arjona, known for her role as Bix Caleen in Star Wars series Andor; Eva De Dominici, an Argentine actress and model who starred in sci-fi film Cosmic Sin and The Cleaning Lady; Sydney Chandler, who played the lead in Alien: Earth, a series due for a sequel; and Grace Van Patten, a versatile actress with credits including Tramps, The Meyerowitz Stories, Tell Me Lies, and The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.
