In a recent episode, a 15-foot tall golden statue of Homelander, the show's supervillain character, was featured, mirroring a real-life 15-foot statue of Trump at Trump National Doral Golf Club.

Accidental prediction or parody?

Kripke has stated in the past that similarities between Homelander and Trump aren't entirely accidental. However, as real-world events continue to align with the show's plot, he believes it's become increasingly difficult for the team to effectively parody and satirize current events.

In a recent interview with Polygon, Kripke discussed an instance where Homelander declared he would become God, only for Trump to release an image of himself as a Jesus-like figure 48 hours later.
