Wizards of the Coast Announces 'Corn Maze' Secret Lair Featuring Labyrinth and KPop Demon Hunters
Wizards of the Coast has unveiled its latest Secret Lair Superdrop, themed around a corn maze and timed for Halloween. The drop features crossovers with Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and KPop Demon Hunters, alongside a Marvel: Zombies collection.
Highlights of the ‘Corn Maze’ Superdrop
The Labyrinth collections are the main draw, with three distinct drops focusing on Goblin kindred cards. A standout is the ‘Fear Me, Love Me’ drop, headlined by Muxus, Goblin Grandee, depicted as Jareth, Goblin King, alongside ‘The Kidnapping of Toby.’ The drop also includes a copy of Trinisphere, a card that doesn’t typically fit goblin decks but boasts striking Bowie artwork.

‘Through the Labyrinth’ Offers Challenging Art
The ‘Through the Labyrinth’ drop features stunning artwork, though some cards are described as difficult to read. Notably, it includes Leveler, which can be combined with other cards to create powerful wish effects. The KPop Demon Hunters drop offers cards with significant combo potential, including Freed From The Real and Underworld Breach – both of which have been banned in multiple formats.
Marvel Zombies and Other Notable Drops
A Marvel Zombies collection is also included, though the cards are unlikely to be worth the high price for most players unless they are dedicated fans of the series. Other drops of note include ‘Manufactured Grounds’ by See Machine, showcasing impressive artwork for the Mirrodin artifact lands, and ‘Peace, Love and Treefolk,’ which offers a unique take on the Timberland cycle.
