Director Craig Gillespie brings his unique vision to the film, which adapts Tom King's acclaimed comic book series. The story finds a lost and directionless young Kara Zor-El on the cusp of her 21st birthday, drowning her sorrows on a remote alien world.

Her melancholy is abruptly interrupted by Ruthye Marye Knoll, a vengeful alien seeking retribution against the ruthless mercenary Krem of the Yellow Hills. Against her better judgment, Kara agrees to help, kicking off an epic adventure through the cosmos alongside Ruthye and Krypto the Superdog in pursuit of Krem.

Joining Milly Alcock in the cast are Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, Eve Ridley, Emily Beecham, Wil Coban, Ferdinand Kingsley, and Jason Momoa reprising his role as the iconic bounty hunter Lobo.

Supergirlsoars into Spanish cinemas on June 26, 2026 - just under three months from now. The new trailer promises a thrilling ride filled with action, adventure, and intergalactic intrigue.
