Link's master sword revealed in the legend of zelda live-action film concept art
Concept art from the upcoming live-action The Legend of Zelda film has given fans their first look at Link wielding the iconic Master Sword. The image comes from director of photography Gyula Pados' clapperboard, posted online and quickly deleted before resurfacing on social media.
A glimpse of the master sword
The golden Triforce and Link in full hero's garb are prominently featured, offering fans their first glimpse of the young star Benjamin Evan Ainsworth in classic Link attire, complete with green cap and the Master Sword in hand.
While we've seen photos of Ainsworth as Link already, this concept art shows him in his full classic costume with the Master Sword, confirming that the film will indeed depict Link in his iconic gear.

Behind the scenes
Pados also shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos, including on-set images from filming in the New Zealand mountains, a forest location, and an area filled with blue screens, hinting at a desert setting.
One image stands out as particularly intriguing - a childlike drawing of Link, Zelda, and what appears to be a Kokiri girl, leading fans to speculate that the film may feature Link's forest brethren.
Officially, Nintendo has only announced Ainsworth as playing Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda, though on-set photos seemingly confirm Dichen Lachman will portray Impa.
The Legend of Zelda live-action project, produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad, is set for a May 7, 2027 release, with fans expecting more details as Nintendo celebrates the Zelda franchise's 40th anniversary later this year.
