Rawk hawk's 3d debut cut from super mario bros. movie

Unused storyboards for Nintendo's 2023 animated film, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, have revealed a number of cut cameos, including Rawk Hawk, a character from GameCube classic Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

Rawk Hawk, a part-man, part-eagle anti-hero, would have made an appearance in the film's Peach and Bowser wedding sequence, according to the newly discovered storyboards.

The unused scenes depict a different version of the iconic scene, with Peach and Toad engaging in a fake argument so the latter can secretly hand Peach the Ice Flower, which she then uses to freeze Bowser in the nick of time.
