According to official sources, the first eclipse will be a total solar eclipse visible in western Spain on April 8, 2026, followed by another total eclipse on October 14, 2026, in the eastern regions. The final event will be an annular eclipse on September 28, 2027, visible across the country.

The Spanish Government has launched a dedicated website, trío de eclipses, to provide essential information for planning trips, transportation recommendations, notable destinations and what to look out for in each region during each eclipse.

In addition, the Instituto Geográfico Nacional has published a free guidebook detailing these three eclipses. However, experts recommend consulting local astronomy associations, Science centers or similar organizations for the most accurate and location-specific information.
