Samsung highlighted Hell is Us and Cronos: The New Dawn as showcase games that effectively integrate 3D elements in action and horror genres. These titles will join the growing Odyssey 3D Hub, a proprietary platform for compatible games that already boasts over 50 offerings.

Underlying this 3D technology is real-time ocular tracking and perspective adjustment, designed to create depth without sacrificing fluidity. Samsung asserts this approach can better handle fast-paced action, intense gunplay, and quick camera movements, areas where previous 3D attempts often faltered.

The company's strategy appears aimed at convincing major studios of the 3D format's viability, with high-profile names like CD Projekt RED and Pearl Abyss potentially jumping on board. This could lead to HDR10+ Gaming showcases with titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Crimson Desert.

Samsung has already launched a 27-inch Odyssey 3D model in Spain, with a rumored price tag exceeding €1,500. A 32-inch version may follow, but the most significant aspect is Samsung's attempt to revive a nostalgic technology concept with a modern twist, leveraging PC gaming and
