Xbox celebrates 25 years with fanta cans and exclusive in-game rewards

Microsoft is marking two and a half decades of Xbox with a unique partnership - special edition Fanta cans. The gaming giant has teamed up with the popular soda brand to create a series of cans and bottles featuring iconic Xbox characters like Master Chief. But that's not all; these cans come with QR codes that unlock in-game rewards and prizes.

Fanta's gaming flavors

Each Xbox-themed Fanta flavor is tied to a specific game: Forza Horizon 6 gets a Fanta Grape, Call of Duty a Fanta Orange, Diablo 4 a tangy Fanta Crimson Sour Cherry, Halo a Fanta Pineapple, and World of Warcraft a Fanta Strawberry. Fans will also have a chance to try out a new flavor - Fanta Crimson Sour Cherry, created exclusively for this celebration.

In-game rewards and challenges

By scanning the QR codes on the Fanta cans, gamers can earn digital in-game rewards for various Xbox titles, including Halo: Campaign Evolved, World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, and Diablo IV. They'll also have the opportunity to participate in interactive challenges for a shot at physical prizes like Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, controllers, consoles, and even the new ROG Xbox Ally.

Fanta diablo 4 fan event

Microsoft is also planning an immersive Diablo 4 fan event in Los Angeles from May 22-25 in collaboration with Fanta. This event will allow players to face off against Mephisto, who has locked away prizes and presumably cold Fanta cans, in a celebration of gaming and flavor.
