Tangled sequel talks struggled to find compelling story

Disney's 2010 animated hit Tangled has remained one of the studio's few recent successes without a full-fledged sequel, despite sparking ideas for a continuation. In a recent interview, co-director Nathan Greno revealed that the team held talks to develop a sequel story but ultimately couldn't find a strong enough narrative.
