YouTuber Karl Jobst is taking legal action against Donkey Kong record holder Billy Mitchell, alleging defamation following their previous dispute. Jobst filed a lawsuit in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida, claiming Mitchell's public comments damaged his reputation and earnings.

Jobst seeks damages over mitchell's statements

The complaint cites several instances where Mitchell publicly denied Jobst's bankruptcy claims and accused him of running crowdfunding campaigns on false premises. Jobst asserts these statements caused him emotional distress and financial losses.

Mitchell, a former star of the documentary 'The King of Kong,' had previously sued Jobst for defamation over a video titled 'The Biggest Conmen in Video Game History Strike Again!' The court ruled in Mitchell's favor in April 2025, ordering Jobst to pay $240,000.
